I wanted to take a minute to welcome all of our new readers. If it has anything to do with grants and funding, we’re writing about it here. From project planning, grantseeking and proposal writing to managing awards, ensuring compliance, submitting reports, and passing audits – we cover the soup to nuts of what matters about funding. And with all the budget throwdowns and fiscal drama around the country lately, it sometimes feels like a reality show, but with more power suits.

By default, the most recent posts appear first, but we’ve given you a number of other ways to navigate around the blog, so you can also locate posts by general category, specific tags, publication date or author.

We publish at least one post per weekday, but you can easily keep up with them by following us @thompsongrants on Twitter, subscribing to the blog (which simply means that you’ll regularly get an email with our latest posts) or adding the RSS feed to your favorite reader. We’ve also included the standard ways for you to share posts with your colleagues and friends.

We try to be helpful and we try to be thought-provoking.  One of the best things is when readers pipe up with comments or additional questions about something we’ve written.  We (and other readers) want to hear what you think – good, bad and otherwise!

So take a look around, make yourself at home, then let us know: What else should we be covering?  What would you like to see more people talking about? Who else in the grants community would you like to hear from?  What can we help demystify? And what grant-related tips or expertise would YOU like to share with us and our readers?
