OMB A-133 Compliance Supplement 55 Days Late (and Counting)

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, the Office of Management and Budget still hasn’t released the FY 2011 Circular A-133 Compliance Supplement.  But in better news, I’ve been hearing about some terrific grants management job opportunities lately, two of which I wanted to share with you.

David Cassidy is one of our Editorial Advisory Board members and vice president at TCG, an award-winning e-government and e-business solutions provider.  He let us know that the company is currently on the hunt for a Project Manager (Grants Management) who currently resides in the Washington, D.C. metro area. The project manager is responsible for grants management project performance, including cost, schedule, deliverables and contractual compliance, and is the person who knows most about the business and technical aspects of projects, manages staff, and who explains solutions to clients.  More information about the position is available here.

Kearney & Company, a mid-sized accounting, audit and IT consulting firm that exclusively serves the federal government, also has a great opportunity based out of their Alexandria, VA headquarters for a seasoned grant professional.  They’re looking for a Grants Program Manager to oversee the grants work pertaining to their Department of Transportation and other federal engagements. That person is ultimately responsible for pre- and post-award grant administration and reporting and for managing the training and compliance of their team. As the company continues to grow its grants practice, this person will be key in shaping the division as they see fit. More information about the position is available here.

If you decide to pursue one of these opportunities, please let them know that you found out about it from Thompson!
