Adrianne Fielding Speaking at 9/12 Grants Conference

I’m delighted to share the news that I’ve been invited to speak at the annual conference of the Maryland Governor’s Grants Office on Monday (September 12), which will be held at The Inn and Conference Center at the University of Maryland University College in Adelphi, MD.

The daylong conference typically draws between 500-700 attendees due to the high profile of its speakers, the proximity to Washington, DC and the grants office’s reputation as a model for state-level grants administration.  As usual, this year’s agenda is chock-full of great speakers presenting on terrific topics.

I’ll be delivering one of the afternoon’s concurrent sessions (from 2:20 – 3:30 p.m.) on the basics of the OMB Circulars — important stuff for all grantseekers and award recipients to understand.

Registration for the conference ends at midnight TONIGHT, which gives you a few more hours to submit your form.

If you’ll be at the conference, please find me and say hi – I’d love to meet more of our readers!  Even if you can’t attend, I’d like to reflect your experience and insights in my presentation.  Which sections of the Circulars are the most important for your organization?  Trickiest to understand?  Most challenging to implement or follow?  What tips would you offer grantseeking organizations or award recipients who aren’t very familiar with the Circulars?
