I was recently looking at my schedule and realized that there’s a ton of stuff happening for the grants community in November. We’ll be attending and/or supporting a number of these events.  They’re in my calendar – hope you add them to yours!

This GPCI certification program measures an individual’s ability to provide quality grant-related services within an ethical framework. It was established in 2004 by the Grant Professionals Association (GPA) to ensure test integrity and independence. The GPC exam was designed within National Commission of Certifying Agencies guidelines, and has been psychometrically proven to be valid and reliable.

Webinar: “Managing Risk Throughout the Grant Lifecycle”

In this 90-minute webinar, Elizabeth Gombash, Executive Director of Strategic Grants Planning and Development at Seminole State College of Florida, will review common elements of risk that are encountered when making pre-award and post-award decisions, and will share proactive proposal development and grant management/compliance strategies to address them. Ms. Gombash will also be available to answer questions during the live Q&A portion of the webinar.

Webinar: “Supporting Allowable Costs With Written Policies On ‘The Big 5’”

In this 90-minute webinar, grants management expert Richard Solloway will discuss best practices for developing and maintaining written policies and procedures related to grants, how they relate to one another and the role they play in the audit process.  Mr. Solloway will also be available to answer questions during the live Q&A portion of the webinar.
